Dr. Hannah MacNaul, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA, LSSP

Dr. MacNaul is a Doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in the State of Texas. She received her Master of Arts degree in School Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio where she also completed specialized training in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Dr. MacNaul has worked in local school districts including San Antonio Independent School District and Montgomery Independent School District providing behavioral assessment and treatment and evaluation services to children with academic and behavioral needs. To further pursue her passion for ABA, Dr. MacNaul completed her Ph.D. in ABA from the University of South Florida. She is currently working at her alma mater as an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Dr. MacNaul's Research Focuses

​Dr. MacNaul’s research interests include evaluating translational approaches to the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior as well as developing non-obtrusive interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. She also conducts research related to multidisciplinary training and collaboration for higher education students and has conducted several projects evaluating university pedagogical teaching practices.
