Project FIESTA is a progressive service model intended to coach caregivers to implement evidence-based practices to reduce challenging behavior for their child with ASD. Project FIESTA aims to effectively and efficiently serve families in need of intervention by offering three levels of caregiver-led treatment within previously existing and established UTSA services.

Project FIESTA is for participants that engage in challenging behavior that impacts access educational, social, or community resources as well as individuals waiting for services, not receiving services, those who prefer focused services.

Project Manager
I’m Lauren Gonzales and I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in 2021. I then continued my education at UTSA and received a Master of Science degree in behavior analysis. I am currently a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and work as project manager of Project FIESTA at UTSA.
